Most recently, Shawn served as Concept and Product Designer for Ikea. Prior, Shawn worked as Principal Design & Innovation Director for Sauder Woodworking, a top manufacturer supplying Ikea. Sowers' industrial design experience includes Bose Corporation's Home Entertainment Division, Lenovo's Personal Computing Division, ThinkCenter and ThinkStation, and IBM's Retail Store Solutions. He has also worked as a freelance furniture designer for Starbucks. Shawn holds a BA in Studio Art from Indiana University and a Masters in Industrial Design from North Carolina State University.
