A dynamic visionary who understands and is committed to an exceptional client experience.
Scott’s goal of “doing things differently” is the spirit that inspired the founding of Hightower in 2003. Along with co-founders Natalie Hartkopf and Rachel Hartkopf, Scott knew something was missing in our industry: a company that could truly understand and quickly respond to the rapidly changing needs of forward-thinking interior designers and architects. His vision: modern and unique ancillary furniture designs from up-and-coming international product designers, manufactured in the U.S. - our friends in the A+D community were looking for just this combination and could not find it elsewhere!
Scott is well known for having deep knowledge of the industry - through senior management roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers and as President of two divisions at Steelcase. Scott’s more than 30 years of success as a dealer and sales rep and experience with all aspects of design and manufacturing created a dynamic visionary. He understands how impactful the intersection of these roles are on the client experience, a primary reason why Hightower is known for setting up designers to stand out.
