Originally from the East Coast, Katie has lived and worked across the U.S. and internationally but considers herself a ‘Seattlite’ having been based in the Emerald City for more than ten years. A graduate of Syracuse University, Katie started her career in the resort real estate industry, working with developers and the design community to develop the story around a sense of place and deliver a go-to-market strategy for the pre-sale efforts for dozens of international destinations.
After nine years with Intrawest’s Playground Destination Properties, Katie joined the agency world where she gained experience in experiential and event marketing, campaign development and brand strategy for global consumer brands like Microsoft, Amazon, and Nordstrom.
Katie recently joined the Hightower team to oversee brand and marketing efforts. Her unique combination of magic and logic brings creative problem solving and strategic design execution to a brand and ultimately, their consumers. She's passionate about the audience, the insight, the idea and most importantly, the results. She’s excited to share the Hightower story with the design community in a thoughtful and impactful way.
